Minnesota Hockey partners with GameSheet for digital game tracking and takes the place of traditional paper scoring. GameSheet is a state-of-the-art hockey programming and game recording system that allows for efficient and convenient game management.
- All District 16 associations will receive unique team codes at the beginning of the season
- Each association should ensure that teams have access to an iPad for scoring
- Training volunteers is strongly encouraged
- All District 16 League games and Exhibition games will be entered by each association.
- The person(s) entering games into the iPad for each association is responsible for loading games into the correct season category - District 16, Minnesota Hockey - Exhibition, or Invitational Tournaments.
- USA Hockey rosters should uploaded into GameSheet by each association
- Game scoring volunteers should find scheduled games under the uploaded tab on the arena iPad.
- It is the responsibility of the coach or team manager to make sure their team roster is correct.
- Changes can be made to rosters up until game time, once a game is downloaded on the iPad, it lives there until either uploaded or deleted.
- Make sure coach or player suspensions are properly notated.
- At the conclusion of each game the GameSheet iPad must be signed by coaches and referees.
- Once all information is completed on the iPad the game must be uploaded to reflect correctly in the standings
- If a game is not uploaded, it will remain on the iPad it was scored on and will not appear in the standings
missing games and/or corrections
Missing Games
If you are missing a league game, check the iPad used at the correct arena to see if the game was not uploaded upon completion. If an away game, reach out to the home team to make sure the game was uploaded.
GameSheet Corrections
If there is an error, or correction that needs to be made on a game that has already been scored and uploaded, you will need to reach out to Mark Elliott or Mark Dragich to discuss necessary changes.
- Changes may be made to penalties after review with Referee-in-Chief.
- Changes will be made to correct an incorrect game score.
- Changes will NOT be made to recorded player stats for goals, assists and goalie saves.
